Ranveer Singh Blames Schools, for Not Teaching Students Proper Concert Etiquette, After His Big Stage Dive Fail

Actor and wedding reception enthusiast Ranveer Singh found himself on the receiving end of another controversy after his unplanned stage dive after a mini-concert at Lake Fashion Week injured some of the fans.

After walking the ramp, to promote his upcoming film Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh decided to perform a song from the movie to make sure that his fans understood that he knew words. Soon, he got carried away and jumped from the stage onto his unsuspecting fans, reportedly, injuring some of them.

“I was minding my own business, making some *fire emoji* Insta stories, when this mass of 75 kgs jumped on me out of nowhere. I nearly passed out from the fright,” said Ajay Devgn, who was also hanging out at the event.

People took to Twitter to condemn Ranveer for his antics and demanded that he apologised.

In a statement, the Befikre actor apologised to his fans, saying, “I’m sorry I nearly broke your spine. That was so not rapper gangsta Gully Boy of me.”

He went on to a sure fans that he would now warn people before he decided to jump on them. He also claimed that it’s the fault of our schools and education system that has not prepared people to deal with unexpected stage dives during concerts. “People need to be taught proper concert etiquette right from the beginning,” he wrote, “It’s common knowledge that if you’re at a music concert and you see a human being diving towards you, you need to catch him/her. You should always be prepared to catch a man.”

Indian education system has yet to respond to Ranveer’s claims.
