Shahid and Mira Kapoor’s Newborn Baby Sparks Nepotism Debate

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s baby boy is already making headlines, but for all the wrong reasons. The new born baby got embroiled in a nepotism controversy after accepting the lead role in Rohit Shetty’s sequel to Dilwale.

“It was a little weird, but since we’re both movie stars, I mean just me. I am the only movie star between me and Amri..I mean Mira,” said Shahid Kapoor, before abruptly turning back and heading inside the hospital room where the over-privileged ‘baby’ boy was sleeping with a recovering Amrita Rao.

There’s a strong community of people who believe that Mira Rajput and Amrita Rao are the same people. “Nobody has seen the two under the same roof. Coincidence?” asked Sonam Kapoor, who is a vocal member of the community.

But the topic du jour is Shahid and Mira’s baby boy.

Angry fans have taken to Twitter to mourn the lack of talent in Bollywood and how little respect is given to outsiders.

“I don’t know much about proving anything or not, but the baby looks like a total star and the way he cried brought tears to my eyes,” said the doctor who delivered the star kid, “I can definitely say that Rohit Shetty chose him because of his talent and nothing else.”

Regardless of what side of the nepotism debate you’re on, let’s all just hope the baby remains far away from the influence of Regina George of Bollywood star kids, Taimur Ali Khan.
