The trailer for Salman Khan’s upcoming production Loveratri was released yesterday.

The simple love story revolves around two people who fall in love but can’t be together because the boy is creepily into dandiya.

“It’s a story that will resonate with every man or blackbuck in the country,” said Salman Khan.

Apart from futuristic dandiya sequences and a promise to make Arbaz and Sohail Khan relevant again, the movie also promises something unique: All the characters are played by wax statues!

You read it right!

“Movies with human actors are very common, we wanted to do something different with Loveratri,” said Salman.

It took over two days to create almost human like statues out of wax, who were then featured in the movie. “It was not an easy process,” recalls director Abhiraj Minawala, “We had to find a kindergarten class who would be willing to make these statues.”

Was it difficult to get the wax statues to act? Apparently not, says the director.

“We had seen what Aayush Sharma (the ‘actor’ on whom the male lead wax statue is based on) could do, acting wise, and we thought it would be best for everybody involved to use wax statues instead of him or any other actor in the movie.”

Wow! We can’t wait to see the movie.
