The actor, who is the son of famous actress Sharmila Tagore and has admitted to playing a huge role in getting his daughter Sara Ali Khan her roles in Bollywood, revealed how he had lost some projects because of nepotism.

“It was at that time when I realised that nepotism is not good when it works against me,” he said.

The actor went on to recount how he could have been a part of many big movies but got axed out for a more well-well-connected star kid at the last moment.

“Did you know, I was up for the role of Abhishek Bachchan’s motor bike in the ‘Dhoom’ series?,” he said, “I even shot for almost half the movie before I got replaced with Jackie Bhagnani.”
