A new research, published in the Journal of Stuff and Things, concludes that Kartik Aaryan’s phone needs to be taken away from him, while everyone is in quarantine.

“We don’t know if it would do anything to combat Corona or boost morale, but it would definitely help a lot,” said lead researcher G.M Reddy.

According to the study, the researchers showed Kartik Aaryan’s recent video on social distancing to a focus group comprising of people of different ages, genders, and sexual orientations. Reportedly all of them agreed unanimously that it was the worst thing they had ever seen and they would rather lick an infected subway pole than go through that again.

“We don’t know if taking away his means of reaching out to people would have any immediate impact, but it would definitely help a lot,” said Reddy, “It’s something we, in the science community, call ‘his highly punchable face’, and ‘smug, peak-North Indian voice’, and his overall ‘douchebaggery’ that elicits such strong reactions from people. They don’t need that right now.”
