ICYMI, protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register for India have been going on across the country and several people have called out influencers and celebrities for not speaking up. While many celebrities have come forward with lukewarm responses to the horrendous display of fascism and eventual decline of our democracy, GinGlutes, a popular lifestyle blogger decided to express what no other influencer had the guts to say.

“It’s so unfair that you guys are asking me to give my opinion about something I have no idea about,” said GinGlutes, in a video shot in a seemingly well-appointed studio, “Don’t you guys remember what I told you in my morning routine video? My brain can’t comprehend anything that’s going around the world unless I’ve had twenty Starbucks Americanos shot directly into my veins through an IV?”

The influencer with over 600,000 followers then goes on to describe how difficult it is for him to express any opinion about anything as it gets mixed reactions. “It’s like that time I said I don’t like brown shoes because they make it look like I’ve stepped in mud, and people who really like stepping in mud came for me in the comments,” he said, “I couldn’t sleep for a full day thinking about how I can make it right.”

According to him, he hasn’t had the time to properly make himself aware of everything that’s been going on around the country because he has been busy appointing interns to write script for this video that sounds equal parts condescending and asinine.
