“The actor has been around for a while, but we noticed a spike in the thirst for him after people saw him in the recently released Gully Boy,” says head researcher Jaspreet Anand.

The study found out that people have been sending out thirsty tweets dedicated to him or his character MC Sher, and are generally being suddenly very invested in his career.

The result for the study concludes that while you may have a newfound crush on the actor, you might not know how to deal with it. “I really want to see more of him, but I don’t know if I can watch something that has Vivek Oberoi,” read a tweet from a thirsty fan.

The thirsty fan is referring to Chaturvedi’s role in the web series Inside Edge, in which he starred alongside Vivek Oberoi.

“What’s interesting is that the thirst levels dipped a little when the subjects found out about this association,” said Anand, “People are finding it hard to get more of Siddhant without catching any of Vivek Oberoi.”

Even though the research is groundbreaking, there has been no conclusive solution for this problem. “We guess you’ll just have to watch Gully Boy again,” reads the study’s conclusion.
